Title: speedlite - diffuser combo?

I want to start doing limited shooting with flash at shows that are really really low light
which speedlite/diffuser combo do folks suggest for this along with a Rebel XTi?

With that killer lens line-up you already have, I'm surprised you don't already have a flash. Why not just pick up a 580 EX II with a sto-fen. This is what I'm using, although not for concerts.

well im really really anti flash but one of my local venues is sooo low light i cant even get away with a 1.4
so i need to start using a speedlite..
