So the job that pays for my taping and photography habit is working in IT for a major national retailer. Specifically, I support & design the Infrastructure (servers, networks, telecommunication, wireless) within our largest distribution center. Collectively we have a bit over 1.4 million square feet of space with literally miles of automated computer controlled conveyors and sorters. I got asked to do a group photo of the IT team that works within the facility so I had a bit of fun with some tips from the Strobist philosophy and wound up with this...

Overall I'm pretty happy, a few shadows and the like that I would clean up given more time to set up the shot, but my major problem was I had to be in the shot so couldn't directly see the images while I was shooting.

Very back row, middle right between the really tall guy and the Asian guy.

Nice job, the exposure is right in there. What is Strobist philosophy? Are there strobist colonies? ;D

I'm guessing you are aware and just joking, but if not. Strobist is a great flash photography oriented blog that advocates lots of great DIY and low cost solutions for flash photography. Good stuff if you are interested in flash photography.

Just joking (or lamely attempting to) even though unaware :D That is a cool blog! I really need a decent flash unit...
