Title: Alesis 1622 Mixer: Cleaning & Lubricating Monolithic Electronics
Post by: Johnny Thunder on July 10, 2010, 02:01:40 PM
These are actualy kinda neat mixers in that they are cheap and lightweight. However, they're disposable mixers if the monotith is shot. I'm pretty sure I've got a good one, but need to know, IF someone's familiar with this mixer, or familiar with using a monolithic resistive surface in this fassion, what is safe to use to clean and lubricate the resistive surfaces?

I hope someone can answer as the one that I have that was working well when I put it up some time ago, but may well need a little clean and lube before I want to MOVE any of the sliders or twist and knobs, if you know what I mean. ;)

Maybe Spark E might wish to chime in on this one? I know he's pretty knowledgeable!
