Title: how to splice with soundforge or wav lab???

I need to splice in about 45 secs to a min of a different aud source.  how does one do this?  I have both soundforge 6.0 and wavlab 4.0 but have never had to do this and am not sure how.  please explaine this as basic as you can.

it's pretty much an issue of finding your sync points, and copy/paste, really.  i still use soundforge 4.5, but i can't imagine the process has changed all that much.
