Ok I have dreamed of being able to get multiple tracks into Cool Edit Pro multi-track for post-production work for a long time.
I have a shot at a wmod 410, and I understand that with the 410 I have a dig. input (2 tracks) as well as two analog inputs (mic or line) for a total of four tracks to work with in post(assuming I can use CEP 2.0 multitrack).
I am also aware of the Edirol FA-101 and it's 10 inputs. My question is how many tracks will the FA-101 allow me to work with in post?
I also understand that Doug has chosen to modify the 410 instead of the FA-101, but damn, if I could get a T-Mod FA-101 with 10 channels (I actually only need 5-7 in post) I would FREAK OUT. I mean that would just make my world...

is he modding the fa-101's now?

nope, and it doesn't look he ever will. it's understandable, piece of crap edirol only made it compatible with Win XP! how ludicrous is that?
