Title: Azureus question
Post by: 1westkc3 on May 09, 2007, 03:38:13 PM
I go into details and set priorities to only download one track.  When I try to listen on Foobar I always get the following mssg;

"INFO (CORE) : startup time: 70 ms
INFO (CORE) : opening file for playback :
INFO (CORE) : location: "file://C:\My Music\Yes\Yes - Tour de France (March 6 1998) FLAC\CD 2\Track11.flac" (0)
ERROR (CORE) : error opening file for playback :
INFO (CORE) : location: "file://C:\My Music\Yes\Yes - Tour de France (March 6 1998) FLAC\CD 2\Track11.flac" (0)"

I've tried to find the answer in the user guide but can't seem to figure it out.  Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Sounds like you may not have the FLAC plugin.  "FILE > Preferences > Components" and check if it is in the list.  It is called "Flac Decoder - flac_inpt_std."

If that does not solve it, make sure you have the "FLA" or "FLAC" extension on the file.  If that does not do it, hike on over to www.hydrogenaudio.org and ask the propeller-heads in the foobar forum.

Cheers

I'm not a Windows guy, but could it be the parentheses in the file name?
