So the 850 came last night,
does anyone know if the camera (or similar model) will work without loading image software? I couldn't pull anything off on my imac g4 without putting the crapper canon image editing stuff which I thought was odd as every camera I've owned ran fine with plugin and play on a this computer (and anyother mac os).

The wife loves it. I think it's to small but seems to take very nice pictures and has a bunch of features. Also easy to use is key for the wife.

I may need to grab a card reader then. Going try it on the g5 tonight to see if it's the g4 which I doubt just to sure.  ???
