R9 and Formatting
« on: April 12, 2008, 11:38:08 AM »
Hey all, Im running a R9 with latest firmware on a transend 4 gig 150 card and generaly I delte and format the card after each use inside the deck, should i be formatting all the time and also doin so in the deck.      Reason i ask is ive used this card for a while now and the deck stopped out of the blue the other day and during playback the stuff that was recorded was skipping during playback.
Thanks in advance

I format all the time and always format within the deck.  I've not had any issues. Maybe it's a bad card?

Im starting to think the same thing re the card,  as for formatting I wasnt sure if it was better to do it within the deck or the pc ,decks much easier lol
