mics destroyed, in the market for an upgrade
« on: September 20, 2008, 03:33:04 AM »
so my mics got danced on by 300+ people at the hood internet tonight. thankfully they were cheap ($30), and my battery box and recorder are ok.

I'm running an R-09 with an SP-SPSB-10. I was thinking church audio might be a good choice. my questions are:

1. will chris' stuff work with my box?
2. if so, whats the model number for his omnis

(pics forthcoming)

my budget is on the lower side of $75, so if anyone has other suggestions, fire away...

You could grab a used set of CA-11 probably for under $100.  They have interchangeable omni/cardioid caps.  They will work fine with your battery box.  Good luck with your new gear.  8)
