Did my first 24/96 recording
« on: July 06, 2004, 08:50:35 PM »
Set the TL's up in the basement in front of the stereo. Wanted to get the bugs worked out before taking it into the field. First off, the firewire audiophile is sweet. Very easy to use, just like their audiophile 2496 sound card. Easy to install, laptop picked up it up no problem, did some simple configuration and I was off and running at 24/96. Recorded a solid hour of music at 24/96. No dropouts, just crystal clear audio. Open and closed my laptop to make sure that didn't cause glitches, no issues there. Can't wait to use this thing in the field. For those of you looking for a firewire interface for 24/96 the firewire audiophile is great, and at the $175 I paid for it off of ebay, price was right also.

For the record, running XP, seems to have no issues with this OS.

It is company policy never to imply ownership in the event of a dildo - We have to use the indefinite article; "A" dildo, never: "YOUR" dildo.

And isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, ooh ooh ooh, the sky is the limit!
