curious as to what you hear differently?

I've never heard a metal tweeter that I could enjoy.  Might be from the old SEAS silk ones that I grew up listening to.
The brain can apparently get "trained" to prefer different voicings.

I've heard that Solioquy is going metal, too.  Not confirmed......
