whoa...
too bad they need AC power.  how badass do you think these sound?
i think i'm getting the neumann bug again.  but want to find something "special", outside of the obvious 140/184 option.

You can power these in the field with a custom battery pack.  I have a friend that uses KM254's in the field.  Almost the same thing as this.  I dont think you would want those M70 capsules though.  They have a bump in the high mids and were made for close micing acoustic and strings.  you would want the M94 or M62 (same cap branded for broadcast) which is basically the same cap as the one used in the neumann KM54/KM254 mics.  mmmmmmm....tubes :drool:
CK1x, CK2x, CK3x > Hub Industry Cables > Naiant PFA or MK46 > 460B
CK1, CK8, CK63 > 460b
