Notmad Explorer help.ASAP..please

Im doing some cassette tranfers to my jb3 I had notmad working and when I went to transfer from the jb3 to the pc got a creative error

error 8x-10 creative driver cannot read file driver may be currupt..


so I did an uninstall and a total reboot... still an error and cant transfer to PC.Im despirate to fix this ASAP..any help appreciated

creative site has NO jb3 driver updates.or old drivers...

where did I go wrong??

Use the search here at ts. There are JB3 software and driver files somewhere here. I think in either the JB3 FAQ or in the archive section.

When you say Notmad Explorer, are you referring to the program from http://www.redchairsoftware.com/notmad/ ? There is also Sveta from the folks at dbpoweramp.com that will work with the JB3.

Go to
http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/
click: MP3 Players .... Zen ... scroll down to "Archived products", select JB3
Next screen will say "This product is end of life"... click link "Search Archives Now".
I have a note that in my case the 2.01 was "too new".  Don't remember that that means...
I used the "certified driver 1.20.04c" and it worked OK.  It's just about 1mb.

I have it on my hard drive.  If the above paths don't work for you, let me know and I can put it somewhere you can get it.
