Adapter for stand question
« on: February 13, 2008, 11:50:06 AM »
I have an AKG KM235 bar and need to attach this to my stand. Is this the best one to use, or is there something better?

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/286147-REG/AKG_KM217_3_8_Female_to_5_8_.html

^^^Anyone know if Guitar Center has these?

I think for the riser I am going to check out Guitar Center and find one of those 5/8 Female to 5/8 Male adapters. That should do the trick.

If you are running a light stand with 3/8 threading, and your AKG stereo bar is 5/8, then you have found what you need.

BH is a great place.
They fill the order super quick.

Not sure what you're using for shocks but I use two of these for a riser.

In all fairness, Dave just did reply to me and tell me to call him, but I jumped the gun today and did a B&H order.
