Mount for a VP88
« on: February 16, 2008, 06:44:07 PM »
Any suggestions for a shock mount for a 1-1/16" diam. VP88. I think the Shure A53M only goes up to 3/4".
anti-shock not as important as a nice firm hold; the spring loaded clips I've tried (nothing expensive, tried a few diff from local Guitar Center) don't hold the heavy mic very well.

Shure makes a mount specifially for this mic, Shure Model # A88SM.

It is really quite handy.  i would look into maybe the at8415 as well, i think that was big enough when i was shopping around.  it is definately a lot cheaper than the shure mount.
