I’ve had a few weird experiences and a few close brushes with total weirdness of one sort or another, but nothing that’s really freaked me out or made me feel too awful about it. - Jerry Garcia

it works for 16 as well.....so when it pads it to 32 bits is it just adding zero's.  What's the potential impact of doing that?  Soundwise it seems fine.

I was able to get my Audiophile 2496 card working with Foobar and ASIO this weekend as well... with the .dll version (not the .exe version) from the www3.cypress.ne.jp site.  I currently have the SSE3 .dll in my components folder in Foobar.. I guess I should find out which is the best version for my computer next, but at least I have it up and running.

I can't say that I have ever done this and foobar works just fine at 24 bit with my audiophile 24/96.  this thread is two years old.  maybe newer versions are fine?  I'll go check and see if that dll is in my components folder.

and yes I have asio drivers installed.
