What is the best sound professional battery box model out of the following:

(this is ONLY for stealth recordings that can get very bassy i.e. rap concerts)

i am going to go - mics. > batt. box selected?? > jb3

1.  SP-SPSB-6
2.  SP-SPSB-8
3.  SP-SPSB-1


what are the best ways to get these options??

1.  bass-roll off
2.  line-control
3.  cable length

With the SP-SPSB-6, if you don't go with any sort of modification (they do one to make it smaller), you have the option of which roll-off setting to use.  You can use one of the following:

16 Hz
69 Hz
95 Hz
107 Hz
160 Hz
195 Hz
888 Hz

I use the SP-SPSB-6 into my MT 24/96 (with the TRS dongle) and it suits me just fine.  I'm also using the AT943 mics they sell.  Can't go wrong with the SPSB-6 in my limited experience.
