Title: Decoding question vob -> avi, mpeg

ok folks hopefully someone can help me. i've been commissioned by a buddy to put together a dvd of motivational clips for our college basketball team. i have just started using adobe premiere. at this point i'm looking for a tool to convert the ripped vob files to avi or mpeg. i have searched to net to no avail. can anyone help a brother out? thanks, z

vob>DVD2AVI (save project as .d2v file)>VFPAI codec (creates a fake avi)>place it on timeline and your good to go.

the only issues you might have is that certain dvd2avi versions don't work with vfapi codec.  I'll do some digging and pass along the info.  If you need more detailed instructions either pm or post here.
