Wavelab 5 Questions(play & record content)

well, i just got wavelab 5 not too long ago and the help feature isnt doing me
much good. 
-why isnt there a tool bar with the playback and record functions on it, or am
i missing something
-i feel real dumb asking, but i can only get the wav to play if i hold down the cursur
over the wav

go to view>control bars>select transport. a little rectangle box should pop up w/ play, record, etc.

That little bugger gets away from me once and a while too.  The only stupid question is the unasked one.

Someone else may be getting used to it and need the same help!
