where to get / how to build rack mount

http://www.starcase.com/DS_rack_pre_pack_kits.htm im looking for something like this.  the 24U style. seems absurdly expensive.  i cant imagine this would be too hard to build, but if anyone knows where to source one on the cheap, i'd be interested in that too.

I bought one of their TV stands / eq racks and love it. Really nice construction, easy to put together and looks great.
