Thoughts on B&K AVR507 S2
« on: January 04, 2008, 11:44:48 PM »
I am going to begin rebuilding the house playback system and was considering this a jumping off point.  My primary reason was the high current the amp delivers to speakers leaving my options open in that respect.

Just looking for thought on this piece or others that are similar.  I really want 7ch so I have the option to bi-am the front mains or to go to a second room.

Thanks!!

Are you looking for audio only or vid as well?  I have this/love this for audio, but it just got bumped to the basement because it doesn't have hdmi in/outs, and doesn't play well with the new 50" pioneer kuro elite plasma. I picked up a Denon 4308CI, and it may fit the bill for your AV needs.  Plus it's cheaper.  http://usa.denon.com/ProductDetails/3494.asp

I FUCKING LOVE TAPING!!!!!!
