I did see those when doing my search and they look like they do exactly what I'm looking for. But they mention a 5lb weight limit which just would not be enough for what I'm doing.

I've had this for years and while there is no listed weight rating, it's extremely strong. You just need to use the appropriate adapters for 3/8" hardware. Anytime I need an angled position, this is usually what I reach for.

With the locking teeth that looks like it might be a winner. And for $9.99 at Adorama the price is right.

What swivel is this?  This is Zmans and it worked great at the 40 Watt.  Been waiting for days for him to answer on the part!  I thought it was the umbrella one but it looks a little different.  Essentially I need to do what Steve posted about.  Superclamp with a Matthews extension that can change angles.

I'm not sure but I don't think the matthews extension would fit over that.

@gordon, that swivel looks like a Manfrotto 155 Double Ball Joint Head. Kupo makes a clone.

I’ve been using a Manfrotto umbrella adapter for years, plus it only has one joint

Thanks!  Just figured it out.

Edit: Impact makes a knock off as well

In the market for a new clamp.  For video.  I will mount a tripod head onto it. A full head with arm.  Not a swivel mount. Can anyone confirm.  The Saviors look too small to screw a tripod head onto.  Looks like the head would hit stuff as I screwed it on.  Might stick with what I know works.  A super clamp.

The Savior clamp is far stronger in every way than the Manfrotto super clamp. It's rated for double the weight, for one thing. Because of its design, it also grips tighter onto a wider variety of surfaces. I would absolutely never go back to using superclamps.

Didn't really answer my question though....will a full tripod head screw onto this without hitting parts of the clamp?  EDIT:  I went with this one.  It has a 3/8 screw for the tripod head.  Should work perfect!

https://www.amazon.com/9-Solutions-9-XS1005-Savior-Clamp/dp/B018495DLE/ref=rvi_d_sccl_1/146-4551347-7317221?pd_rd_w=7B5d7&content-id=amzn1.sym.f5690a4d-f2bb-45d9-9d1b-736fee412437&pf_rd_p=f5690a4d-f2bb-45d9-9d1b-736fee412437&pf_rd_r=0V9W4RK83RQ26XW3SJBS&pd_rd_wg=rvYqA&pd_rd_r=b47c413f-7be0-4d25-994a-eef041fd050d&pd_rd_i=B018495DLE&psc=1

Well you've basically got three mounting options if using the Savior clamp with socket, which is what I have and recommend. On the outside of each of the jaws, you have both 3/8" and 1/4" female threads. I could see that if the jaws were clamped onto something rather narrow that you would have some interference with a pan head. But then you have the socket which accepts any 5/8" pin. That is up much higher, so with a normal size pin in there, you would easily clear everything.

EDIT: I forgot that version of the Savior exists. That will certainly work for you, although if it were me I would spend the additional $5 on the version with the socket as that gives you more flexibility for mounting equipment with 5/8 pins. I don't know if that's something you have need of, however.

I would also highly recommend the 9.Solutions Savior clamp, will never go back to a manfrotto or a derivative of the super clamp
