The NBox is a custom, compact box that <1> replaces the Schoeps mic bodies (e.g. CMC6), <2> provides power to the Schoeps MKx mic caps, and <3> also acts as a preamp.

They're custom made by Nick, aka schoepsnbox here.  PM Alex for details, I believe he's still acting as front-man for the NBox.
