Could this be used for concert recording? Not for video, just for audio recording into the DR-60D?

Interesting, battery life is a little short but a nice form factor to lure the DSLR user for sure.

Not really, its huge, it just looks good when you have all this extra stuff on your rig....makes the client think their getting what their paying for.  their are less expensive and smaller ways to accomplish the same thing
