Title: Anker® 2nd Gen Astro Pro2 20000mAh Tip
Post by: DeadGreg on May 20, 2014, 05:35:01 PM
Group,

Has anyone tried the B tip on the Anker 2nd Gen Anstro Pro2 20,000mAh? I know it will not be a perfect fit, but is it close enough?

Thanks,
Greg

Pretty sure I made a battery cable for someone using a "b" tip.

I was going to use some velcro tape to secure it. Amazon has the battery for a pretty good price now.

I checked out the B tip last night. It is a pretty snug fit. I don't think I will even need the velcro tape.

How are you liking this battery so far? I am thinking about getting one to power my R4.

I used it on my R4 last night. After two acts played about an hours a piece plus an additional hour of sound checks and downtime, I was at 85%. All four channels and the matrix running. Both mics on phantom power. Plus, it does not have an off switch to accidentally hit.

I love this battery. Highly recommend it.

Awesome, thanks! I have been looking for a new battery since my DVD batteries have been failing. I used one on Friday and it died after twoish hours of recording and being on with only two channels. This battery looks like exactly what I want, plus the USB out would help for my H6.

Absolutely. Amazon has a good price on them now. I am thinking about getting another. I ran in it with a GAKable b tip to m tip with reverse polarity. No problems. Although Ted says that he is not sure about the exact fit on the b tip, it fits perfectly.

Yeah I am planning to get it off Amazon as soon as I can afford to.
