fwiw, I sold my 300 bodies (that were leftover from being made into actives) to a fellow TS'er for $75, I believe.

yeah especially for the CP4s, you see just caps for sale all the time.

I think there are som overpricing on Nakamichi equipment....
Here are the ones from Primo (the manufactor of the Nakamichis):

Multiply the prices in Yen by 0.0092 to get the prices in USD.

By the way, I paid $25 with shipping to Europe for two Nak bodies some weeks ago.

Before I sold mine, I had no idea what they were worth, although they were mint.  I'm not trying to state that their actual aftermarket value is ~$75/pair, but doesn't $15 (or even $25) seem darn cheap?  Roger, you basically got them for free (sans shipping - assuming they came from the USA).

I guess what I'm getting at is....I have no idea the value of the 300 bodies, but $75 seemed like a decent sale price (to the buyer and myself) considering my initial investment in the pair as full mics.

It's all relative. If both you and the buyer were happy at the $75 price point, then that is what they were worth to both of you at that particular time.

Not sure I would pay that for a pair of 300 bodies but then I got a set of 100s with CP1s, an MX100 plus PS100 and all the clips, screens and cables for $40. A killer price. Several years later I paid double that for a set of CP2 caps. Not such a good deal but the seller had dropped the price twice and I figured someone else would grab them if I didn't, so I did. I think both the seller and I wsihed the price had been more in each of our favor but it was what both of us thought the caps were worth at the time.

A set of 300 bodies might be worth $75 to me if I already had a set of CP4s or already had some attenuators. Since I have neither, $75 is too high for me; for someone else it may be just right. Depends on what you have, what you need/want and what you're willing to pay.
