yeah I just have a sony tcd-d7 it has a 1/8 input so I could just go, xlr to 1/4 to a 1/8th adapter?
so I could take this:

put a xlr to 1/4 adapter to a 18th adapter to the dat? would that work, or are all the connections going to muck things up...
