Powered up the unit and it stays in "PLAY" mode. Powered down for 5 minutes, powered back up....still in "PLAY" mode....Is it possible I inadvertantly locked out the controls?
Thanks alot

Have you tried pushing the "record" button?

I hit record....the record light came on. The play function doesn't seem to stop.

Take off the battery and wait a couple of minutes, then remount the battery and try it again. I have found that the unit can get screwed up and needs power cut and then it works fine after a reboot.

Reboot; the old cure-all. Did it work? I will wager it did.
