Topic: Dat wont fast forward?

yea i'm afraid my dat is dying.  or i'm just being dumb..   I think after cheese this weekend its goin to pro digital.  For some odd reason it wont fast forward.  It will go for like 3 seconds then stop.  and its not power like i thought it was cause it does it on, and off the batteries.  Sometimes i can cycle the power, and it will go forward just fine.  It plays, records, rewinds, just doesn't go forward. and its bugging me.  So any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

mine did that for YEARS, as long as recording/playback are fine, you should be too

i hated when it did that crap tho, prolly couldnt hurt to send it in to be looked at tho

no man, its the old Casio DA-7.  I've been thinking of getting a new deck for a while, i just don't have the cash to make it happen.
