What's the best way to record a video on my computer screen, let's say just for example a Phil and friends stream? I know I'll need software and am willing to pay for the software as long as it's good.
What I want is a good frame rate in 1080p and very stable able to record over 4 hours.
How do I do it?

I don't know how it would work for streaming video, but back when I was active in the gaming world, we always used fraps:

A number of streams that show up on Dime get recorded with ffmpeg, but I have no experience with it.
