I need a cable to go from the output on my preamp to the line-in on my RH10. I tried searching the boards, but the cable discussions were way over my head. What type of cable do I need? Does Radio Shack sell a decent one? If not, where do you recommend I get it from online? Thanks.

What pre-amp do you have? Chances are you'll just need an 1/8" male to male cable.

I have Chris Church's STC-9000 preamp.

yep, you need a 1/8" patch cable.
They have short ones and long ones at Radio Shack. if you are looking for a higher quality cable have a freind build you one or order one from Chris Church. He has the nice right angled mogami/nutriks, or he can make the straight plug.

, BTW , a cable should have came with your preamp? On Church's ebay site it looks like they do come with a cable.
I wouldn't worry about the quality of the preamp cable. The thing is so short it is not an issue. Also it is transfering a line signal and not a sensitive mic level signal. I would be willing to bet that a shitty cable would make no difference in the sound quality. Its not like the I-River has mogami cabling inside of it. It using hook-up wire. The patch cable does not matter much IMO.
