Roxio 1 Second Gap
« on: February 10, 2011, 04:46:39 PM »
Ok, I did online research but I can't seem to find the fix to my problem.  I have Roxio RecordNow 9 Music Lab on my PC where I burn shows I get from places like Dime.  A Toshiba utilitiy program I was using to burn cds on the Toshiba laptop I have has disappeared somehow when I had the laptop fixed.  But when I use Roxio, there is that annoying 1 second gap that occurs in between songs. I chose "no gap" and it still does this. Does anyone know how to fix this or what program (freeware is OK) I can use to avoid the gap?  Obviously, this program is used to burning cds on studio music where a gap is fine but with live music where a track leads to another track, it sucks. I don't want to hear a gap in this.  Thanks and sorry if this has been resolved here earlier.

Ok, so I downloaded the Infrarecorder.  The choices are SAO (SessionAtOnce) and it had gaps (P01, P00), Track At Once or Track At One with Zero pregap. Which do I chose?

Somewhere in the software even in roxio is an option to burn disc at once without gap between tracks.

Disc at once is only choose for Audio CD´s.
2015 rig: CA-11 -> CA-9100 -> PCM-M10
2016 rig: Sony PCM-M10 + SP-SPSB-4 microphone plug-in power supply +  SP-CMC8 with Low Sens mod
[backup: CA-9100 - Tascam DR-05 Firmware 2.0 + Yamaha Pocketrak W24]
video 2016: Casio EX-100 HS (same as Olympus Stylus1 - but much smaller - japan import not availiable in EU)
