ISO: Someone to mod UA-5
« on: September 22, 2004, 12:19:59 PM »
I just bought an unmodded UA-5. Would anyone be will to digi-mod it? Perferably someone in the Northwest area just so I don't have to send it out. If so, let me know.

I know speshulEd has done it.

Don't want to volunteer him for anything though- but from what I have heard, its pretty easy!  I'm kinda a pussy when it comes to that kind of stuff too... I am not into breaking open somethin that I just dropped a couple hundoe on...
Tickets are dead to me.  Except the ones I have, don't have, and lost.  Not to mention the ones you have, don't have, and lost.   And the ones that other dude has, doesn't have, and lost.  Let me know if you need some tickets, I'm happy to oblige.

I was able to modify mine myself but it was a little delicate work, time consuming, and made me a little nervious ;p

I was thinking of offering to help but I'd be much more nervious trying to do someone else's if I fucked it up LOL.

yeah, i consider myself to be pretty good at soldering nowadays, but i still don't trust myself with someone elses equipment.  if i ruin my own stuff, its me who's pissed off - if i ruin yours, then i have to reimburse you for it and you hate me for the rest of your life.

and honestly, i got good at soldering because i messed up modding my xbox and had to solder traces back to the main board (not a fun time) - basically i taught myself and i'm sure anyone can do it if they just have confidence.

anyway, good deal on finding someone to help you out.

Because nothing says "I have lots of money and am sort of confused as to how to spend it" like Bose.
