question re: onstage taping
« on: October 28, 2005, 05:37:07 PM »
I'm running a matrix tonight with mics on stage.  Does a snake supply phantom power or do I power the mics from my UA-5, through the snake, and then  into the mics?  Basically, do have phantom power on or off when running the mics through a snake?

THanks.

you can def run phantom through a snake.  Just treat it as a really long mic cable.
