Title: Newbie questions - microphone care?
Post by: Aladar on February 07, 2010, 10:36:07 AM
Hi, sorry I'm asking such a stupid questions, but.. better safe than sorry, right?

I was just wondering what is the proper care for my mics. Where to store them, how to store them (can I just curl them up into circle?), and where to put them while traveling.. any tips?

Thanks!

I would coil them loosely in a nice foam-padded container (like an otterbox) with a silica desiccant package tossed in to keep them from getting too much humidity (I recommend the ones with indicating beads so you know when they are used up and need to be replaced).
