couldn't be happier with all of them.
picked up the m10 about 3 weeks ago, and was happily surprised by the internals. the ca-14's have exceeded my expectations as well, very high fidelity and balanced.
just did some recording with the blondies, and these too sound very good but require full p48 and higher gain than the others.
the blondies and the ca-14's may even be a bit redundant, they seem similar. maybe the ca-14's have a brighter top end?
i need to test them against each other to get some more information. though i was running the ca's through the ca-ugly and the blondies through a littlebox. 71db of gain in a tiny portable with full phantom and a single 9v -- great box.
... and to boot all of this is recording a fairly crappy upright piano in a small room.
off to the hat store next week to buy a styrofoam dummy head. i wonder if a large honeydew and some epoxy could do the trick

Is that Debbie Harry? ;) :P

I believe they are custom mics made by some guy at gearslutz.

Here's a link to one of the threads about these mics over at Gearslutz. There are multiple clips throughout the thread.....but don't expect to find too many without compression.....those guys over there are nuts for preamps and compressors.

Seems like a lot of hype, but I can't really tell what the mic is. It looks like the Naint or Karma ones, an XLR plug with an (omni) capsule at the end.
