Stadium concert: omni or card ?
« on: September 19, 2010, 04:00:38 AM »
I will recording U2 next week in an open stadium. My siege is in a covered blok.
I have an Edirol R09HR, a preamp CA-9100.
What is the best option: CA-14 Omni or CA-14 Card ?
With or without bass reduction at 100 Hz on the CA-9100 ?
Thanks in advance for your answers !

Cards, definitely
Please contact me if you've ever taped the Smashing Pumpkins or a related group!

Yep, cards without bass reduction...
That said, if it's windy take the onmis  :D

I ran 2 rigs at a stadium, and my hyper-card pull was a lot better.
