Zaxcom is sending me one of these on Monday.

Check out how it has a SD slot so it can be a recorder too! This could be a stealther's dream. Turn it on, put out of sight. Now the basic wireless mic is setup for voice, but I have used wireless systems on soundboards before and they work great. You plug into the board, go setup where you want without wires running all over the place, and instant matrix. Of course I like that you wouldn't even have to put this into the mix until post production time. Of course the cost on this puppy is due to be a huge issue for us. I think they start around $2500 for the xmiter and receiver (if they weren't sending me one, there would be no way I could afford one right now).

Wouldn't be as small as you think, because unless I'm missing something, looks like you'd need 2 for stereo. Still damn small though. What are the specifications on ZAX format, I couldnt find any info on thier site?
