Hey
I'm going to be using more of a mixer (Edirol M-100fx) as a A/D and pre. Because it is a mixer and not a designated pre, i was wondering, how do you properly get stereo imageing? do you simply make the mics channels 1 and 2 and then pan each hard left and hard right accordingly? or do you pan somewhat but not all the way? anyone know?
thanks

I would go hard left and hard right, and let your mic configuration do all the work.

yeah, on mixer a to get stereo, the channels need to be hard left and right to get that stereo effect, or else it would just be straight mono
