As far as the "save image" problem...that happens to me pretty often. All I do is reboot my computer and it works fine. What Nero are you using?

Two questions.....

One....have you tried  rebooting without any discs in your cdr drive?
Two.....since you rebuilt your computer, has Nero worked for you at all?

both times i rebooted there were no discs in the drive

no it has not worked since i rebuilt the comp.. (i rebuilt it a few weeks ago and just tried it today.)

although the same program works on my laptop of which was just rebuilt as well so i know the file is not corrupted.

Are you sure you loaded the driver for your cdr drive when you rebuilt computer?

i would think that that might be the problem.. but neither of my cd drives are being shown with nero.. and the 1 drive is what i used to boot the system so i know that it works.

but i dont think that I have the driver for the drive loaded

1) Got to your control panel and click on System.
2) Click on tab that says Hardware
3) Middle of hardware screen is tab that says Device Manager...click on it
4) In that list there should be one that says CD-Rom/DVD drives or something similar. Click the plus symbol on that and your drives will be listed.

Is your cd-r drive on that list?

Well shit. Put a music cd in your cd-r drive and see if you can play it.
