FLAC and ripping question

OK.  I made a CD from my original DAT using a Fostex CD Burner.  I went to 'rip' the files to my hard drive and they come up .wma

I want to FLAC them so I can seed.....HELP me get my music to you please.

Sounds like your ripping s/w is configured to rip to WMA, not WAV.  What s/w are you using for ripping?  Check it's preferences/features to see if there's an option to rip to WAV.  If not, consider EAC.

Thanks.  I did a search but couldn't find a thread regarding an flac fingerprint....I dont know how to make one and apparently its a requirement for etree now.  Its been a while.

So...you were able to rip to WAV alright, then?

What app are you using for encoding the WAV to FLAC?
