i think i just found out why i was brickwalling

my bad transfer  ;D

time to retransffer all over again :P

ill post samples of new transfer

Didnt you just upload it to the computer via sonic stage?

nope
for some reason my comp has a beef with any kind of sony software [errors and shit]
i have to do a line out on my himd to mic in on my comp =\
its kinda funny, i have never uploaded anything from my mdrs to my computer(i dont have a cd burner on my comp)
i always run the mdr directly into my stand alone sony cd burner.i have always seemed to get excellent results,i wonder how much they could be improved running through a sound/editing program?  maybe someday

Damn dude, I just tossed out a CDR last week cause no one I knew needed one.

I had some issues with Sonic Stage before I updated the XP SP2 and everything has been smooth sailing ever since.
my comp is like 7 years old,no cdr,no dvdr........lol
its okay though, you would(probably) be surprised what a mdr>(direct)cdr sounds like.if you want to hear a sample of a show get ahold of me.the lastest ones i have done, i cant see how they could be any better. 8)

Ive got a Philips 775 CDR...its a real piece of shit.  It will only read SONY CDRs...Ive had the thing since brand new!  I did all my old SP transfers with a MD deck w/ optical out into that CDR.  Now it just sits there and waits for me to load in a Dual Disc since thats the only thing in the house that will actually read one of those discs.

Ive tried just about every brand out there.  I picked up 200 sonys from when I worked at best buy a few years ago and ive only gone thru about 50 or so im pretty set for life.  This CDr got horrible reviews on just about every website out there but I got it for next to nothing and i guess its worth just about that.
