Title: Eco-Charge EC90, 12v & 6v combo ?'s
Post by: caymanreview on January 19, 2004, 08:23:33 AM
im buying one of wes's ec90s that is 12 and 6v combo

i looked on the site and i cant find any info on AH ratings for this sucker. all i can find says "12v 7.2ah"

whats the deal with these combo batterys? how can i figure out the ah rating for the 6v? are these sla's basically just one sla with 2 voltage outputs? or 2 sla's packaged together?

thanks
Dustin

so both the outputs would be rated at 7.2ah if you were running either or but not both at the same time?

how would you go about doing math for run times using both outputs?

add your current draw together to obtain total current draw, then apply it to the AH rating.  operating voltage doesn't factor in the AH calculation.  basically you have one 7.2AH capacity battery.
