JB3 charger help...
« on: January 16, 2004, 12:54:47 PM »
I left half of my charger in my girlfriends bag after new years. I didnt even realize it was gone until earlier this week. Its the part that plugs into the wall. Looks like any ol cord that plugs a portable stereo into the wall. Well, i find out today that she let her dad borrow the bag on his trip.
So now half my charger is in China for a couple of weeks.

Anyone know what model number this part is, or where i can get one. I would like to avoid creative, b/c i imagine it would be costy to get a whole new charger.

Any help would be great.
If not Weeks you have to charge my batts before Orlando.

It's a standard plug.  A good deal of Sony A/V Gear (including the PS2) has the same plug.  As does that battery charger for Canon CamCorders and Digital Camera's.  Take it to Radio Shack, look at part number: 61-2878 or 61-2877.  Either one should be a close enough fir.

Hope This Helps...

im thinking that you just lost the end that plugs into the wall right? seems rick is thinking the other way around

the card is a standard cord used on anything, you can buy them alot of places, probably the shack

when i got mine it didnt even come with one, i just used the one off my old cheapo stereo

From what he described, he's missing the cord that plugs from the wall to the converter.  Those RS Part numbers are 2 of thier cords that should fit.  I have the same cord on my NS900V DVD Player, my PS2 and my Canon CB5L Battery Charger.

But I see he found an one already.

Had he lost the converter, that would have been another story.  Creative fit a weird DC Plug on that one, that's pretty hard to find.
