I have three Wally World style batteries (Initial) that I use to power my V3 - one at a time. Has anyone ever tried to hook these batt's in a way that all are in parallel? Something like this?: http://www.zbattery.com/seriesparallel.html
I'm looking for pointers, parts, and/or gotchas.
Thanks,

That would be perfect for taping a festy. How long will that power the V3 for?

Think you can make one for 3 batt's?
I already have one of Ed's single V3->Wally batt cables. It is built *very* nicely. I rest the whole weight of my V3 on it. I need to fix that situation, but the cable is so solid that it hasn't been a priority.
I will get back with you before I truly need this cable in June '08 (Wakarusa anyone?)

If you are using radio shack adapta plug cables, they make a Y than you can use to connect 2 batts, but 3 would have to be made custom. 3 to 1 is easy enough, just need to match the guage of the wire. Thinner wire for the 3 parts and thicker for the 1 to the deck will make the splice easier to twist up and heat shrink.

That's a very good point O-Canis.
I only made a 3 way cable because I was using 3 2ah nimh batts at the time, and they ran too short to worry about swapping 2 times.

The need for a three battery harness seems to me to be unnecessary since all you really need is the ability to hot swap a full battery for one on its way out.
Your are correct. I was having a ""but, these go to eleven" moment.
