just wondering, i cant remember if this one has the locking connectors or not.....i believe this is the one i used from a buddy this summer!!! ???
anyhoo, if this is the one im thinking of, and ANY of your coax connections are sketchy, GET THIS CABLE.....it screws onto ANY coax connection and locks on that bad boy tight!!! both ends do, so problem solved....i think one of these are getting purchased real soon for myself!!

the aes locks because it is xlr. i also run a coax out for patchers. see rig pics mule 12/26 the two p1's are being fed by aes, m1 by coax

i will prolly run the aes1>optical converter>jb3 tho, so there goes that!! ;)

is it a snap kinda lock, where it just kind of locks into place??? the analog ins have the true "locking" connectors...i dont think any of the outs have a locking style like that!!
maybe i just need to try it.....when you say it "locks" how do you "unlock" it???

The only problem I have with these cables (presto locking types) is the fact that they are a pain to use with dap1's. I've only got to use one a couple times but they always gave me problems when connecting them to p1's.

no doubt, once they "lock" on, they lock on!!!

Bean,
The XLR does lock into the AES of the V3. There's a small, verticallt extended button on top of the male XLR end. Push & pull to release!
