I'm actually rethinking some of my stealth entry methods, too.  If anyone is willing to PM me their strategy, with any suggestions for my current rig (see sig), I'll be happy to share a +t for their time and maybe even lift the veil on how I currently do things.

hi im new to taping and would like some advice on stealthing.  please PM with any advice/tips.

ill be using:

CA (stc-11)
hi-md recorder
CA 9000/9100 preamp.

I found that is pretty amazing to walk in with a mic stand and "act like crew".......no one says anything.
Got me backstage at lagerado two years in a row now.....
