Any experience with this SP GNA-3 T-mount for mini mics?

I've seen it mentioned in a few threads around here. I have a pair of AT831 mics. I'm finally getting a stand setup going for them after all these years and countless shows...  I've read all the 'home-made' threads. But at this point I think i'm happy to just pay someone and get this thing up and running. Anyone have experience with this mount? .. I hate to be a cheap-scate, but I think i'll have to pony up the extra $50 bones to get the shockmount option. Considering I'm buying this item for many years, it's best to have the best quality I could for the purpose, have having shocks is key I hear.

As for the actual T-mount .. I can't for the life of me figure out how the mic capsules squeeze in .. not sure if the little circles go around the mic (where the swivel clips are on the AT831's) and then the windscreen cap goes on after it is in? ... the photos are so weird / vague .. anyone with real-world suggestions / know-how? thanks kids! happy friday night, i'm getting out of work just now ..

It's a n00b rig, but I still love it, 5 years later! I have no desire whatsoever to 'upgrade'. I figure it does a good enough job doing the task I want it to do (recording the music) so i'd rather take that $1000 and use it elsewhere... ;)

The mic just slides inside the windscreen. It's just a metal circle that holds it & the fitted windscreen. I really don't think you'll need shockmounts. But I have no experience to prove it.  I had one with my 831's but never used it.
