Red microphones have just released the R4 capsule, a pressure sphere omni(the same type of microphone as the legendary m50, and tlm50(the mics known for decca tree)..for the price of one m50, you could have 3 of these microphones. the sphere gives a presence lift and focus to the higher frequencies, and some directionality..the pressure balls from DPA are the same sort of thing..at any rate..im going to be trying these puppies out...they can be used with the RED bodies or the classic gefell mv563 bodies..
