Recorded some stuff to a 4GB Sandisk microSD and was going to upload it from the PCM-M10 as usual.
Not so fast. Although Win7 saw the card and the Private folder and the System Volume information, clicking into Private triggered:
"You need to format the disk in Drive I: before you can use it." Oh, really?
Tried a different cord to the PCM-M10 to see if that was the problem--same result.
The files play back in the PCM-M10 and, sigh of relief, are just fine for upload from the card slot on the Win7 computer. Meanwhile, a 32GB Sandisk Ultra is still read just fine from the PCM-M10.
There's very little wear on the card slot--I usually upload from the 32GB card in the PCM-M10, and only exchanged the 32GB to the 4GB for something I was keeping separate.
I guess I should chalk it up to the 4GB card getting ready to go kerflooey. But has anyone else had this situation?
